Although neither English nor French is my major in university, but language has always been a passion for me. For personal interest, I took the examination and qualified as an advanced interpreter (organized by the Shanghai Interpreter Association�j in 2000. My first professional work as an interpreter was a part time job for a garment manufacturer in Shanghai in relation to their import/export and dealing directly with clients from Australia and Canada. Ever since, I have had various occassions where I worked as part time translator/interpreter between English and Mandarin.
