| Description | English to French Canadian translator required: Responsibilities: +Translate, edit and proofread a variety of documents from English into French; such documents could include: +Marketing materials - flyers, store signage, mailers and flyer ad kits +Human Resources materials - employee training programs, benefits programs and store contests +Merchandising materials - product launch packages and private brands packaging +General materials - communications to stores, shelf tags and weekly store bulletin +Responsible for the translation of documents for their Website +Ensure that translations are complete and accurate and that there are no additions/omissions to the original text, the original meaning or the original feeling and intent +Adapt translations as required according to subject matter and target group +Clarify with the originators of documents the original meaning, feeling and intent of text to be translated +Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Director Qualifications: +Degree in Translation an asset +Fluency in French and English +Ability to proofread documents and make corrections +Good computer skills +Ability to work independently +Ability to prioritize +Strong organizational skills +Strong interpersonal and communication skills +3-5 Years of experience (2yrs medical translation) |
