| Description | An important institution is soliciting for the services of a qualified Spanish translator/linguist or firm to review the results of web pages that are machine translated from English into Spanish. The reviewer would check translation accuracy and work with us to improve accuracy through updating the Spanish dictionaries used to machine translate the English source pages and through suggesting changes to the source English text. These services are required to perform translation review of approximately 110,000 words of Spanish text from our web site. The Spanish text results from real-time, on-demand machine translation of the current English web site pages. Services are also required, after the initial review, to provide on-going review of all new content or substantially revised content created at the web site in Plain English and machine translated into Spanish. The vendor would also provide consultation on changes suggested by Spanish-speaking Department associates or web site visitors. |
