| Description | English to Chinese translation project. Dear Sir/Madam, We are a publisher from Italy, we start introduce our Chinese/English version lighting design magazine in September, which focused on the lighting and architectural design industry of China and HK. Therefore, we a looking for a long relationship with a English to Chinese translator, this is a long term project about translating every month around 20 pages for our magazine. Kindly advise your rate per source word for our reference. As the quality of the translation is so important for us we need to carry out a test translation for evaluation (see attachment) Brief for test translation: - The tone of voice should be professional, but enjoyable - The translation should be a reinterpretation of the English text not a word by word translation. So please do not stick to the English structure of writing. - A lot of the titles do not makes sense in Chinese, so do pls rewrite them - The target of the readers are architects, lighting designers so pls do take particular attention and care to the technical word, if u have any doubts pls put a comment - Your writing style and use of terms should fit for Mainland Chinese readers Best regards, Translators please send your quotes and sample. |
