| Description | PROJECT: - Translation of a website (Internet marketplace for transport and logistics) - Long-term contract: We are searching translators who will do the initial and complete translation of the website and who will do the translation of further texts on the website during the next months and years - 20% of the text is marketing text - 40% of the text are "frequently asked questions" and the answers on it - 40% of the text are texts / words that are needed to use the website (like texts on buttons and short descriptions of different menue points, etc.) - You will only be able to see yet the marketing text and the terms and conditions of cargoclix. The FAQs and the programm text is only to be seen by registered users of cargoclix (please do NOT register) LANGUAGES: - Basic language: German - To be translated into: English, French, Italian, Spanish - The translator should be native speaker in the required language (English, French, Italian, Spanish) - The contract may be given to one translator for every language, or to a translator who is native speaker in two or more languages METHOD: - We will provide text files in German (formate .txt) that have to be translated into the different languages - Before, and if required during the translation, there will be a telephone conference between cargoclix and the translator, in order that the translator may understand easyly and timesaving the specific logistic expressions or the context in which the expression is used in the programm - No special tools are required to work on this project SCHEDULE: - The translation should start within the first or second week of February 2005 - It should be finished latest until the end of February 2005 - Further translations of texts within the next months and years should be translated within the period of some days, depeding on the size of the text to be translated QUOTES: - Should be competitive - Please enter your quotes in the currency EURO - Please give quotes PER WORD and alternatively PER HOUR If you should have further questions do not hesitate to contact us.
