| Description | Need translation of English text into Arabic for use in hospital environment. This is for 3 2-sided pocket-sized pages for nurses to use when a translator is not available. Translation must be done with English letters and phonetic writing underneath of that. Emphasized syllables will be placed in bold text. Again, this is to allow some communication between English speaking nurses and Arabic patients. English phrases will be provided to winning translator. Examples: "It is time for your bath." "You may use the bathroom." "I am going to give you an injection." "Do you have pain." In Spanish, "Do you have pain." becomes "Tiene usted dolor?" and "T'-yeh-neh oo-stehd doh-lohr" The phonetic interpretation is most important to do correctly, since this is what the nurses will read to communicate with Arabic speakers. |
