| Description | Dear Sir/Madam, We are a publisher from Italy, we start introduce our Chinese/English version lighting design magazine in September, which focused on the lighting and architectural design industry of China and HK. Therefore, we a looking for a long relationship with a Chinese to English translator, this is a long term project about translating every month around 20 pages for our magazine. Kindly advise your rate per source word for our reference. As the quality of the translation is so important for us we need to carry out a test translation for evaluation. (see attachment) Brief for test translation: - The tone of voice should be professional, but enjoyable - The translation should be a reinterpretation of the Chinese text not a word by word translation. So please do not stick to the Chinese structure of writing. - A lot of the titles do not makes sense in English, so do pls rewrite them - The target of the readers are architects, lighting designers so pls do take particular attention and care to the technical word, if u have any doubts pls put a comment - Use the English UK spelling Best regards, |
