You simply open up the template, view the document/text and write the translated text in the gray box. We develop software solutions for the manufacturing industry. We are in need of a translator (Spanish/English) who can translate documents (emails, letters, etc.) and also participate in teleconferences and demonstrations with English only speaking people on one end and Spanish only speaking people on the other. Good Day. My name is Leopoldo Bolanos. I´m a novelist and screenplay writer. I reacently finished a novel called THE EYE OF THE LION. The novel is having very good reviews and two agents in Spanish already requested the MS for evaluation. Two other american agents have show big interest about it. I had a previous translator who did a great job translating the first chapter, but she had to move to start a new carreer and couldn´t finish the job. So I have only one chapter to show to the american agents, and it´s a problem. I am very honest about this job. There is no money upfront since I haven´t been pay any money yet, and I´m not a famous author (yet), but I strongly believe this book has a big commercial potencial. So, what I want to offer to the translator willing to assist me is a fair deal in exchange for his/her work. I am willing to offer a 25% of the total amount of any initial payment I get for the rights of the english version of the novel, to the person who can make a professional translation of the novel in a reasonable amount of time. I know there is a risk involved in the deal, but we can minimize the risk. You can read the novel and decide by yourself if the book is worth taking the chance. If you read it and find that you don´t like it, well, at least you read a book for free. But in the other hand, if you read it and decide (as four literary agents did) that it has potencial, then contact me and we´ll talk a bout.
