SAP experience is not a requirement but working with IT material would be beneficial. The person will need to be able to work immediately on-site in London near to Tower Bridge for up to 2 weeks. Requires 3 + years of experience in technical translation/ editing/ proofreading from Japanese to English. Good understanding of hardware and software application. We are looking for a PC-literate, English-proficient, native German-speaking proofreader who can work in-house (the material is only fully accessible on our intranet) for an estimated 30 to 35 hours anytime during business hours between now and Monday, March 19th. This job entails reading the course materials on-screen carefully and thoroughly to identify any errors in translation, grammar, spelling, and style (punctuation, capitalization, formatting, etc.), in both German and English, and recording all required corrections in a corresponding Word document. The files need to be translated by Monday noon and proofread by Monday EOB. 2) For the same client, we need to translate and proofread a Word file (1550 words) for Wednesday at 5PM.
