In Spanish, "Do you have pain." becomes "Tiene usted dolor?" and "T\'-yeh-neh oo-stehd doh-lohr" The phonetic interpretation is most important to do correctly, since this is what the nurses will read to communicate with Arabic speakers.

The right individual may be considered for permanent full-time employment. Our translators work with members of our technical writing staff to create installation guides, user guides, specification sheets and rough-in sheets for a wide range of products. Our target audience is commonly the do-it-yourselfer, and occasionally the professional installer. All documents must be professionally translated in adherence with our style guidelines. Deadlines on projects are critical. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, energetic, diverse environment. Must have the ability to understand and visualize complex mechanical systems is. Exceptional Spanish translation skills and English communication skills are required. We develop software solutions for the manufacturing industry. We are in need of a translator (Spanish/English) who can translate documents (emails, letters, etc.) and also participate in teleconferences and demonstrations with English only speaking people on one end and Spanish only speaking people on the other. This person needs to be proficient on a PC, as most of our communication with be electronic. For web-based demonstrations, this person will be required to remotely connect to a web-site to join a video/teleconference, translate English to Spanish and Spanish to English. The current need is for an installation manual (12004 words), including graphics, to be translated from English to Spanish. Good Day. My name is Leopoldo Bolanos. I´m a novelist and screenplay writer. I reacently finished a novel called THE EYE OF THE LION. The novel is having very good reviews and two agents in Spanish already requested the MS for evaluation. Two other american agents have show big interest about it. I had a previous translator who did a great job translating the first chapter, but she had to move to start a new carreer and couldn´t finish the job. So I have only one chapter to show to the american agents, and it´s a problem. I am very honest about this job. There is no money upfront since I haven´t been pay any money yet, and I´m not a famous author (yet), but I strongly believe this book has a big commercial potencial. So, what I want to offer to the translator willing to assist me is a fair deal in exchange for his/her work. I am willing to offer a 25% of the total amount of any initial payment I get for the rights of the english version of the novel, to the person who can make a professional translation of the novel in a reasonable amount of time. I know there is a risk involved in the deal, but we can minimize the risk. You can read the novel and decide by yourself if the book is worth taking the chance. If you read it and find that you don´t like it, well, at least you read a book for free. But in the other hand, if you read it and decide (as four literary agents did) that it has potencial, then contact me and we´ll talk a bout.
