Our client in the Sheboygan, WI area is looking for a talented individual to fill the position of ON SITE Spanish translator. This position is open-ended, with an initial contract period of 6 months. The right individual may be considered for permanent full-time employment. Our translators work with members of our technical writing staff to create installation guides, user guides, specification sheets and rough-in sheets for a wide range of products. Our target audience is commonly the do-it-yourselfer, and occasionally the professional installer. All documents must be professionally translated in adherence with our style guidelines. Deadlines on projects are critical. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, energetic, diverse environment. Must have the ability to understand and visualize complex mechanical systems is. Exceptional Spanish translation skills and English communication skills are required. The ability to support and maintain the highest level of quality is critical. We create our documents in XML with the use of Epic, and translate using TRADOS. Proficiency in these software applications is helpful but not required. Hours per Week: 40 MUST BE ABLE TO DO TRANSLATION ON SITE Native Language needs to be Spanish Start Date: ASAP Degree Type: Bachelors in Translation or related field or certification in translation Experience Minimum: 3 Years of technical translation
