Simultaneous interpreter (EN-PT): Lisbon, 22 May We are looking for an experienced simultaneous interpreter for a corporate training session which will take place in a hotel near Lisbon on 22 May between 10:30-13:00. Our client is a multinational company and the subject is "Global Business Practices". The training session will be led by a representative from the United States and the interpreter\'s job will be to translate the speaker\'s contribution into Portuguese (via booth and audio equipment). There may also be some inverse translation so the candidate must feel confident moving between the two languages. The session will be attended by around 25 employees. In addition to the interpretation work, supporting documentation will be provided prior to the session to be translated from English to Portuguese (Powerpoint). This will help familiarise the candidate with the subject matter prior to the training session. The translation is around 2,800 words and will be paid at 0.06€/word We are looking for someone with proven experience both as a simultaneous interpreter and translator whose native language is Portuguese.
