For five days, we followed the routine of a lawmaker and protester in Hong Kong called Long Hair (Cheung Mo). Of that we have seven, maybe eight DVDs with continuous timecodes running on the screen that have to be transcribed, translated to English (or Spanish) and timecoded (that is, the translator has to plug timecodes for the DVD each 15 seconds or every speaking pause). The DVDs to be translated consist of two types of material: speeches at the parliament, and slogans shouted during a protest remembering the dead at the Tiannamen massacre. The first has clear sound; and what is heard on the second is not complex at all and there are lots of moments of silence.
