Japanese to English (American)
Looking for Japanese to English translation of the Miyako Odori performance in 2007 - this is mostly singing. It runs about 1 hour. There are also some segments of speech and a few written signs. . This is for written subtitles for a personal video of my trip to Japan. . The easiest and quickest for the translator would be a voice over with the original audio in the background so the text can be synchronized with the picture and audio. (Text with related time code would be more work.) Any Japanese proper names would have to be written down or possibly spelled in the audio if that is reasonable as I do not know Japanese. . I can provide a DVD with the video and audio or just audio files. I can provide cassetts for the translation, or if you have the ability to record on the PC, returning a digital file in any format would be OK. . I have attached a small sample of the performance. .
