| How can I improve my profile to get more clients? | |
| The more information you have on your profile, the better the results that you may obtain from it. Make sure that your contact information and your resume are up to date. Also remember to add the address support@language123.com to your Address Book or safe list so you receive our notifications about new messages in your Inbox. By including relevant keywords within the text of your resume, you make your profile more accessible from major search engines, thus if a client runs a search for "translation services" on on Google, and your profile contains these keywords within valid and relevant context, it will be more likely to appear in the results. You can upload a sample translation in any format. Standard members can upload one file of up to 2MB, and Premium members can upload up to three separate files of up to 2MB each. If you have another website you can add a link to it on your Language123 profile. This is a great tool to increase traffic to all your web sites, because the more links to your profile, the better the ranking you will obtain in search engines and in our translator search tool. For more information, simply go to the Link Exchange section. To edit and complete your profile you can sign-in to Language123 or go to Manage Profile form the tool bar at the top of the page. | What leads can I answer as a Standard Member? | |
As a Standard Member you can answer Private Leads, which are messages sent to you from your profile using the Contact button. These leads will have a heading that will allow you to differentiate them from Public Leads "This message has been sent to you directly from your profile, consequently we strongly recommend that you answer it". You will be able to answer with your remarks and, if necessary, an estimate of the cost of your services. Public Leads are projects posted online by clients looking to receive price quotes from different translators on an specific project and can only be answered by Premium Members. Standard Members who offer translation services in some language pairs will also be able to answer Public Leads in cases where the demand for translators in their languages is rare or low. As a Standard Member you receive notifications about these leads, simply to let you know about the opportunities available to Premium members. There is no obligation to upgrade your membership, you can use the features that come with your Standard membership and request that Public Lead notifications be stopped without affecting your benefits.

| Will I get feedback for every lead that I answer? | |
When you, as a Premium member, submit an answer to a project, it is possible that you will not receive a response or feedback from the client unless you are chosen to do job. In some cases the client may not find the time to submit custom replies to all translators, however, there are cases where the information from some candidates is stored by the client for future projects. You can only submit one answer to a particular lead, and this delivered immediately unless there is a problem in your submission, in which case we will notify you via email and give you the opportunity to resubmit it. You will not be able to send a follow up message for a Public lead except if a second contact between you and the client occurs in the form of a private lead. Remember that the idea is to promote your services and to reach as many potential clients as possible. Each answer that you submit is like a targeted offer of your translation services, the more information you provide, the better. Also, each answer has a direct link to your profile so it is in your best interest to update your information regularly.
